A Message from David Chapman, ACMP Charlotte Metro President
Happy November, everyone! I always feel that once we hit Halloween, the holiday season is officially upon us (and if you look around, the storefronts will tell you the same!). It’s a busy time in all aspects of our lives, and it’s no different for the ACMP Metro Charlotte chapter.
We held a very successful webinar on October 18th, where Heather Stagl walked us twenty-one of us through Four Types of Change Readiness. It was an informative session for old and new change practitioners alike. And, what’s better, there’s more where that came from! Check the calendar of events below, but one that you won’t want to miss will be the year end celebration on December 2nd. Mark your calendars today!
I get a lot of requests from members (and potential members) about how to get involved with the chapter. It’s easy, and we need you! First, come to an event and check us out, if you haven’t already. I think you’ll find this a great use of your time, and you’ll be better off because of it. Secondly, get involved in chapter work. There are a number of committees where you can apply your skills (or learn a new one – there’s no better or safer place!). Finally, being an active part of the chapter is a great way to get to know other change practitioners in your area. Feel free to contact me directly or reply back to the ACMP mailbox, and we’ll connect.
There’s a lot going on, a lot to do, and a lot to get involved with. Come join us! The door’s open, and we’d love to get to know you. Happy Thanksgiving!
